***MUST READ***

Liberty Stake Young Women Camp offers the opportunity to be together in the Nature surrounded by God’s creations.

Each person can help create an atmosphere of faith, friendship, and fun.

Camp Goals:

Strengthen FAITH in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ
Separate from worldly influences to FEEL the SPIRIT of the LORD
Gather together to GROW and Develop as Friends in Unity and LOVE
INCREASE in Self Reliance, Outdoor Skills and Appreciate Nature

DO:
❏ Keep an OPEN HEART, OPEN MIND and OBEDIENT SPIRIT!
❏ Invite the Spirit into Camp by living all of the standards in the For the Strength of Youth (FTSOY) pamphlet and abstain from any other conduct or action inconsistent with the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
❏ Keep the Word of Wisdom.
❏ Dress consistently with Church standards in FTSOY.
❏ For your safety, wear closed-toe shoes (flip-flops are allowed only in showers).
❏ Treat everyone with respect and kindness.
❏ Use language carefully – no swearing, gossiping, put-downs, lying, complaining, or speaking of inappropriate subjects. INSTEAD: Choose to LIFT OTHERS with your words and actions.
❏ Include all - everyone needs to be noticed and loved. Camp is a place where everyone should feel important.
❏ TRAVEL IN GROUPS OF TWO OR MORE for safety and friendship.
❏ Cooperate with adult and youth leaders and follow their instructions and guidance.
❏ Bed Time is from 12am – 6am, so much fun to be had at camp. Make sure to get some sleep!
❏ All campers are expected to stay in their cabins during the night.

DON’T:
❏ NO PRANKS: Do not cause anyone harm, hurt feelings, damage any property OR extra work.
❏ Try doing secret acts of kindness instead of pranks!
❏ Do not leave the Camp unit or property without permission from your adult camp leader.
❏ No food in sleeping areas - it attracts animals! Leaders will have a location for snacks to be kept.
❏ No candles or fires except in designated Forest Service fire areas.
❏ We encourage you to leave all electronic devices at home (cell phones, music of any kind, games, etc.). Leaders will have phone for any emergencies or communication.
❏ Adults will have cameras to take photos for you, there is also a designated photographer, so make lots of requests!
❏ Separating from worldly influences connects us to the Spirit.
❏ DO NOT touch other Camper’s belongings without permission.
